Many passages in Luisa’s volumes talk about living with Jesus “midair between Heaven and earth.” This sounds like Jesus is unveiling what Christian denominations are calling an end time rapture. Using scripture (Matthew 24:37-42; 1 Thes. 4:13-18), these denominations teach that hundreds of thousands of believers will be removed from the earth and caught up in the air for their protection during a tribulation on earth.
First of all, there is no need for God to remove the faithful from the earth to “protect” them. God can certainly protect people even if the world is destroyed around them. Nothing is impossible for God. Google “priests saved a mile from the epicenter of the atomic blasts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.” Remember also that Jesus walked through the midst of the townspeople when they wanted to kill Him.
As you read the volumes, you will run across numerous passages where people living in the Divine Will are said to live midair with Jesus above the earth. See the passages cited in post “Stay Midair with Jesus.”
We believe the “rapture” is the gift of the Divine Will. Is the rapture happening pre, post, or during the tribulation (the big dispute among Christian denominations)? The answer is all of the above. People have been accepting the gift of the Divine Will for a hundred years (since it was deposited in Luisa Piccarreta) and continue to do so every day as they choose to live midair with Jesus. So don’t worry about relatives being left behind. God willing, you’ll be there to help them into the Divine Will. God wants you on the earth because you have the conquering act.
